Today's swim coaches are looking for a portable yet powerful sound system to add air and underwater sound capabilities to their competitive swimming program. Enter the champ -- the Lubell 8480. The self-contained sound system (Anchor EXP6000) houses a powerful 60 watt digital amplifier, 2-way speakers, mixer, batteries, and world voltage power supply. Plug it in anywhere in the world! Also includes a genuine Lubell LL9816 underwater speaker with isolation transformer -- the world's most powerful underwater pool speaker! This revolutionary new sound system integrates digital electronics for light weight (23 lbs amplifier -- 12 lbs UW speaker), high amplifier power (60 watts rms), and high output (110dB/m in air, 178dB/uPa/m in water). The mixer allows connection of the included Audio Technica hand microphone (with on/off switch), and allows connection of your ipod, mp3, or CD player via the included mini stereo patch cord. The two-way speaker system includes a 6.5" carbon-fiber woofer and a horn tweeter for high-fidelity sound -- powerful enough to fill a college natatorium. Bass and treble controls allow the sound to be fine tuned to the room. LINE OUT jack allows daisy chaining of multiple Explorer Pro's, or connection to house sound system in large venues.

Caution: Follow all local and national electrical code regulations for Pool Audio Equipment including keeping amplifier/speaker unit at least 10' back from the water in dry area and connecting 3-prong power cord to GFCI outlet only. TIP: Using a cotton-swab (Q-tip), apply a thin coating of WD40 or sewing machine oil on all cord contacts (mic, speaker, aux) to prevent corrosion from forming, which can lead to static sound from loose connection.
